IMPORTANT INFORMATION SoftBank 920P Software Update

A fault described below has been found on SoftBank 920P (manufactured by Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd.).
Software to resolve the fault will be made available via Software Update.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and ask for your continuous support for our products and services
Identified Faults
Affected handsets:
SoftBank 920P (released on February 29, 2008)
Faults:
- Handset cannot access specific sites sometimes.
Note:
Software Update also includes other enhancements for 920P. We encourage all 920P users to download the new software.
Software Update
Software Update will be available via the Network from July 14, 2008.
Note:
After the software update, the default setting of Roaming Autosetting of S! Mail Incoming Options will be changed to "Auto Download." The setting manually set by the user will not be affected by the software update; however, the setting after operating All Reset or Reset Setting will also be changed to "Auto Download" after the software update.
When "Auto Download" is set to "Roaming AutoSetting" abroad, connection fees may become expensive. We encourage users to change the setting according to your usage situation.

Please follow steps below for Software Update.
- Start Software Update
Please select "Software Update" in "Settings" menu.
Please select "YES" on confirmation display. (Figure.5) - Agree to Term of Use and enter PIN
Please select "Agree" after you read the Term of Use.
Please enter PIN(Center Access Code which is 4-digit number specified at initial subscription) then select "OK". - Confirmation whether Software Update is needed or not You can see the one of the following display.
- Select Software Update method
- Download the software
After download completed, confirmation display for rebooting phone is displayed.
Please select "OK". - Update to the latest software
After Software Update completed, phone reboots automatically.
- After update to the latest software completed
After rebooting phone, idle screen will be displayed, then you can use the phone.
You can confirm the result of Software Update with selecting "View" on Figure.21.
