When there is incoming e-mail, a Receive Notice showing sender's name and part of subject is sent. If desired, the e-mail (including message, sender's name, subject and attachments) can be received manually at the usual fee.
The telecommunications carrier must support SMS Mail. If carrier does not support S! Mail, e-mail messages must be received one-by-one.
S! Mail and Mail Server access fees apply when outside Japan. Fees may vary depending on local telecommunications carriers.

- Methods of calculating data volume by telecommunications carriers outside Japan are the same as SoftBank's.
- S! Mail messaging outside Japan is charged per session.
- S! Mail of 10 KB or less is subject to minimum fee.
- S! Mail fees outside Japan apply even if there is a connection failure or recipients are unable to receive messages.
- Some handsets receive S! Mail (MMS) automatically by default. When outside Japan, it may be desirable to enable manual reception to avoid additional fees caused by unwanted e-mail.
S! Mail and Mail Server access fees apply when outside Japan. Fees vary depending on local telecommunications carriers.
Attention
Fees are charged for accessing the Mail Server even if you are not sending/receiving e-mail. (This includes performing operations such as updating lists, deleting e-mail, etc.)
Any access to the Mail Server when outside Japan will be charged. Frequent use will be billed accordingly.
