Recharge by Transferring from a Financial Institution

You can carry out recharging procedures by transferring funds via Pay-easy banking facility and Japan Post's ATMs, Internet banking (from PCs), or mobile banking (from handsets).

You cannot use mobile banking from a prepaid handset.

Recharge by Internet banking and mobile banking

You need to have an account with the bank and a contract for Internet banking service *1.

This is a service that enables the payment of public utility charges, taxes, and other fees via financial institution ATMs, Internet banking, and mobile banking. For more information, refer to the Pay-easy home page.

Acquiring a confirmation number

You need to acquire a "corporate number," a "customer number," and a "confirmation number" in advance to use this service.

1. Dial "1400"+"dial"

2. Operate in accordance with the following guidelines.

Click on "Register New User ID" if you do not have a user ID or password. Read My SoftBank Terms and Conditions.

3. Press "5"

It is necessary to accept the terms of the agreement to use this service.

4. Select the amount of recharge

Prices consist of two types: ¥3,000 and ¥5,000. Press "3" for a ¥3,000 recharge and "5" for a ¥5,000 recharge.

5. Confirming application details

Press "#" if correct, or press "0" and re-enter the details to amend.

6. After the application is completed, you will receive a "corporate number," "customer number," and "confirmation number" via SMS (or Sky Mail).

The SMS (or Sky Mail) that provides notification of your confirmation number may be delayed, or not arrive, depending on the reception of the handset the information is sent to.

Operation of ATMs, Internet Banking, and Mobile Banking

1. Recharge by ATM

Select "various charge payments" on the screen of a Pay-easy compatible financial institution ATM, follow the instructions on the screen, and enter your "corporate number", "customer number", and "confirmation number" as indicated in the SMS (or Sky Mail).

Recharge by Internet banking or mobile banking

For access to the Internet banking or mobile banking site of the financial institutions, select "various charge payments" from the menu, follow the instruction on the screen, and enter the "corporate number", "customer number", and "confirmation number" as indicated in the SMS (or Sky Mail).

The details displayed on the screen may differ depending on the banking facility of each financial institution.

Caution
Recharging by ATM, Internet banking, and mobile banking, is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Inquiries to the Customer Center are accepted during business hours (9:00 to 20:00).

This service may not be available in the following cases.

  • During system maintenance at SoftBank.
  • Outside Pay-easy hours at financial institutions. For details on Pay-easy service hours, contact the financial institution of use.
  • During Pay-easy system maintenance. Confirm details at "Pay-easy conditions" on the Pay-easy website.
