Flat-rate Data Bonus Pack consists of two cards: Data Communication (A) Flat-rate USIM Card for Flat-rate Data Plan and Data Communication (B) USIM Card for Data Plan. This package provides both merits for different uses based on your usage habits.
Flat-rate Data Plan/Data Communication (A) Flat-rate USIM Card can be used in Japan's major cities.
Data Plan/Data Communication (B) USIM Card lets you use the service in more areas within Japan as well as overseas.
Flat-rate Data Plan offers a low price for what you use per month or ¥4,679/month for unlimited usage. Data Plan basic fee is ¥300/month with usage fee depending on your usage. Enjoy secure, convenient data communication with two different plans.

- Flat-rate Data Plan subscribers pay ¥2,000 - 5,980/month (¥0.042/packet) and Data Plan subscribers pay ¥4,480 (includes tax)/month + communication usage amount (¥0.084/packet) when subscribing to each price plan separately.
Notes on packet communication high price usage
- Communication made with Data Communication (B) USIM Card applies to Data Plan. Therefore, flat rate does not apply even for Flat-rate Data Bonus Pack subscribers. With Data Plan, large numbers of packets are generally sent within short periods of time, so the packet communication fee may be very high. Please check communication rates during usage.
- The communication rate is 1KB = ¥2 (1MB = approx. ¥2,050) outside Japan, and current price plan and free communication/flat rate/discount services do not apply. Please be forewarned that communication fees may be very high outside Japan.

Notes on Flat-rate Data Bonus Pack
- Flat-rate Data Bonus Pack applies to customers who meet the following conditions.
- 1. Apply both Flat-rate Data Plan and Data Plan simultaneously when making a new SoftBank contract.
- 2. The two plans noted above have the same name and billing address on the contract.
- For Flat-rate Data Bonus Pack subscribers, there is no Data Plan processing fee.
- If one line is cancelled, assigned or transferred, this discount service will be cancelled and the standard price plan will apply from the next billing month.
- This plan can be subscribed to only when a new SoftBank contract is made.
- Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is not available.
Notes on both Flat-rate Data Plan and Data Plan
- This plan can be subscribed only when a new SoftBank contract is made.
- This plan cannot be switched to other plans.
- SoftBank Mileage Service points are not earned from the basic monthly fee and communication fees of this plan.
- Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is not available.
Notes on Flat-rate Data Plan
- Data Communication (A) Flat-rate USIM Card is required for Flat-rate Data Plan. This plan cannot be used outside Japan.
- Voice Call, Mail (SMS), S! Mail (MMS), Web, Video Call, and 64K Digital Data Communications cannot be used.
- Only available in Flat-rate Data Plan service areas.
- Flat-rate Data Plan service areas differ from SoftBank 3G service areas. Please click here for more details.
- Flat-rate Data Plan is exclusively for the C02LC and C01LC. Please note that this plan cannot be used for other models.
- In some cases, such as when you make extremely long calls/communications, SoftBank may assume it is disturbing other customers' communications and cut off or restrict the communication.
Notes on Data Plan
- Data Communication (B) USIM Card is required for Data Plan.
- For use outside Japan, application for Global Roaming Service is required. In such cases, communication rates will be charged according to the country, region and local network carrier.
- With Data Plan, large numbers of packets are generally sent within short periods of time, so the packet communication fee may be very high. Please check communication rates during usage.
- Voice Call, Mail (SMS), S! Mail (MMS), and Web cannot be used.
- Packet communication compatible provider: ODN (as of February, 2008).
- 64k Digital Data Communication and Video Call communication rates for Data Plan are ¥84/min. in Japan. (The communication rate is 1.8 times higher when using Access Internet.)
