Monthly discounts do not apply to the basic monthly fees for each plan, except in the case of Flat-rate Data Plan and metered Data Plan.
If you change your handset or add another before completion of installment payments for your current handset, you must pay the remainder in one lump sum together with the first installment for the new handset.
What are Monthly Discounts (New Super Bonus)?
New Super Bonus subscribers receive maximum discount as stated in application under Monthly Discount. Monthly Discount is subtracted from subscriber's total monthly usage fees. Monthly Discount takes effect from third month of New Super Bonus subscription and ends with 24th installment as stated under "Monthly Discounts".
Super Bonus subscriber's monthly usage fees are used to calculate Monthly Discount.
Monthly Discount has maximum limit; should monthly usage fees used to calculate Monthly Discount be insufficient to reach this limit, then Monthly Discount will be lower amount.
Should subscriber change subscription, purchase additional handsets, upgrade handset, or cancel contract while Monthly Discount is in effect, Monthly Discount will apply only through month before change.
Monthly Discounts will apply to Voice Call fees, communication rates, monthly charge of options and processing fees.
Monthly discounts do not apply to monthly fees for Simple Orange and Blue Plan Value.
- New Super Bonus offers Monthly Discount and other services when purchasing a handset at the New Super Bonus special price. Handsets may be purchased in installments (24 payments) or with one-time payment.
- New Super Bonus continues after Monthly Discount ends. However, New Super Bonus is canceled when making contract change, purchasing additional handset, or changing model at other than New Super Bonus special price.
- Payment by bank transfer or credit card is required when subscribing to New Super Bonus.
- Subscriptions to the following price plans can be used in conjunction with New Super Bonus: White Plan, Gold Plan, Orange Plan (WX), Simple Orange, Blue Plan, Blue Plan Value, Data Value Pack, Data Flat-rate Pack, Data Pay-As-You-Go Plan.
- When New Super Bonus is continued when changing contracts or while upgrading/adding handset(s), Monthly Discounts will resume from the second month after application under conditions of the amount and number of months shown in Monthly Discounts content column on application form.
- Customers subscribed to inapplicable plans are required to apply to a different plan at time of purchase by using the New Super Bonus special price. In such cases, New Super Bonus will take precedence over the previous plan.
- New Super Bonus subscribers cannot change to price plan not listed above.
- New Super Bonus cannot be used in conjunction with SoftBank After-service. Current subscriptions to SoftBank After-service will be cancelled when subscribing to New Super Bonus. (Subscription to Backup Service Package is possible.)
- Customers cannot apply for contact change, additional handset purchase, or model upgrade at New Super Bonus special price if current handset was purchased less than six months previously.
