- *2 The IPX5 (previously JIS-5 specification) rating is effective when the cover of external inputs/outputs and the battery is closed firmly, and the screws of the battery cover are tightly placed. With the IPX5 rating, the handset will remain operational even if sprayed with water from a 6.3 mm diameter nozzle at a distance of 3 meters for more than three minutes (at a rate of 12.5 liters per minute) from any direction.
