- Your mobile email address will be changed. Your new email address will be "****@softbank.ne.jp". Please choose the single-byte characters you like for "****".
- The services provided by your previous mobile carrier will no longer be available.
- Some contents and electric money services may not be transferred to the new contract.
- Cancellation fee may be charged if you are under contract for a certain discount service such as Yearly Discount.
- To make a new contract with SoftBank, a SoftBank handset will be required.

Step 1
Apply for a MNP (Mobile Number Portability) reservation from your current mobile phone carrier (DOCOMO, au, Disney Mobile on SoftBank, and EMOBILE).
Reservation numbers can be obtained from each carriers' stores, call centers, and websites. For details, please contact your mobile phone carrier.

Step 2
Receive an explanation and a MNP (Mobile Number Portability) reservation number from your current carrier.

Step 3
Bring your MNP reservation number to your nearest SoftBank Shop or retailer. Select the handset model you like from our wide 3G lineup and apply for a new contract.

Step 4
After confirming your MNP reservation number with your previous carrier, your old contract will be cancelled by SoftBank.

Step 5
After SoftBank completes the application process, you will receive your new handset.
