Standard Warranty (Complimentary Service)

One-Year Warranty Covering iPhone Handset & Accessories

  • Covers replacement only; does not cover repairs.
  • Does not cover water damage.
  • Replacement applies to handset; built-in battery cannot be replaced alone.
  • Covers defective battery replacement for one year from purchase date.
  • Without AppleCare Protection Plan purchase, battery can be replaced for a fee.

  • Must purchase AppleCare Protection in year one of iPhone ownership; not available beyond.
  • iPhone is not eligible for Backup Service Package. For current SoftBank Mobile customers, changing to iPhone plan automatically cancels Backup Service Package.
  • Upon AppleCare Protection Plan purchase, completed application is mailed to customer’s billing address. This is required when contacting Apple, so please keep it in a safe place.
  • If AppleCare Protection Plan is canceled before expiration, balance may be refunded. See details here.
  • Built-in battery cannot be replaced.
