This service enables its subscribers to have two numbers and two e-mail addresses using only one handset.

  • Contract
    • If the contracting party for line A is different from the one for line B, the application for the service, cancellation, or other information change request, in principle, needs to be done by the contracting party of line A, and requires prior agreement from both parties. We may disclose the minimally necessary information of each of the contractors to the other contractor.
    • line A and line B can not be transferred or succeeded.
    • There are some services which can be changed or cancelled only for line A. See the SoftBank website for details.
  • Restriction of functions
    • In the case of making an emergency call (110, 118 and 119), the displayed number on the answering side will be that of line A even though the call is made from line B. The returned call from institutions will be addressed to line A. The setting of the handset will be automatically changed so that the handset can receive calls.
    • In case of suspending the usage of a handset due to loss or theft, both lines will be suspended upon the request by the contracting party of either line A or line B.
    • If you want to reissue the USIM card due to malfunction, the application must be made from line A side.
  • Price plans and others
    • The usage of the following services, or the purchase of content using the following services, will be regarded as, and charged to, line A.
      (1) Web connection or data communication services using packet communications
      (2) Part of services using Global Roaming Services
      (3) International phone services using other interconnected operators (Usage is restricted for some operators)
      (4) Call transfer charge using Number Information Transfer Services (104)
    • The subscriber can select whether the mailing address of your bill or itemized bill be the same or different between line A and line B. The Issuance Fee, ¥105, will be charged by line.
    • The message services for billing of line A or line B can be consolidated and sent to line A (hereinafter called "Consolidated Billing of Message Fees") or separately sent to each line.
    • When Consolidated Billing of Message Fees are applied, the message fees of line B are calculated based on the contract of line A, and added to the bill for line A. In this case, the message fees of line B will be outside "Billing Separation Service" and the message fee of each line can not be identified.
    • This service will be terminated when SoftBank Mobile has found any reason for forcing the contract to be terminated either for line A or line B. In this case, at the time of forceful termination of the contract of the line in question, the other line will become a regular line, which is not applied with this service.
    • If you continue to use line B even after the termination of this service, the special USIM for line B designated by SoftBank Mobile must be used. ¥1,995 is required as USIM Issuance Fee.
    • If you continue to use line B with White Plan even after the termination of this service, the monthly fee of White Plan will be ¥980.
    • If you continue to use line A or line B after the termination of this service, some of the services or contents may not carried over.

Global Roaming Service

Monthly fee: not required

With this service, you can use the same mobile phone number and mail address that you are using in Japan even when traveling abroad.

  • Answering a voice call or video call while overseas will incur a receiving fee.
  • If there are more than one operator in one country or region, communication fees vary depending on which operator you are connected to.
  • Some overseas operators may charge for ringing even before the call is answered.
  • Please see the actual communication rate of each country, region or operator on our website or SoftBank Customer Center General Information.
  • Your price plan, flat-rate plan and its allowance (including flat-rate services such as Unlimited Packet Discount) and discount services (excluding Monthly Discounts) do not apply to SoftBank International Call and Messaging Services.
  • S! Mail is initially set for "Automatic Retrieval of full message" for some models. In case you automatically retrieve full messages in overseas, the communication charge may become large, so it is recommended that you set to "Manual Retrieval" for retrieve messages only when necessary depending on the situation.
  • MMS function of iPhone automatically retrieves the whole messages. The receipt of MMS overseas may result in a high amount of charge. Please turn off "MMS Messaging" function where necessary. When you receive a new message while your automatic retrieval function is off, you can get it using "Receiving New MMS" application.

SoftBank Consolidated Billing

Monthly fee: not required

The bills for products and services of the enterprises separately designated by SoftBank Mobile (hereinafter called "Designated Services") will be consolidated and sent by SoftBank Mobile.

  • The information of billing party and payment method of all the designated services will be changed to the contract information held by SoftBank Mobile.
  • The billing closing date of SoftBank Mobile will be applied.
  • * When Yahoo! BB, (ADSL/Hikari) is consolidated; the closing date will be at the end of every month.
  • SoftBank Mobile, or the providers of designated services, may send bills in the middle of a month should they find it necessary to do so. Also, if the closing date is changed as the result of change in application, the bills for two months at the maximum will be consolidated into one bill.
  • Ask the providers of your designated services about the delivery of the receipts and itemized bills.
  • See the SoftBank website for Consolidated Billing to find how to change billing party and payment method. After making a change, the billing party and payment method of all the designated services will be changed.
  • When your contract with SoftBank Mobile is cancelled, Consolidated Billing will be cancelled. Also the service will be terminated when all designated services except SoftBank Mobile are cancelled. In the case service is terminated, the information on billing party and payment method at the time of termination will result in the closing date being carried over to each designated service.
  • When your bill is overdue, partially or completely, your designated services may be suspended or cancelled.
  • The notification, announcement, or advertisement materials, on Consolidated Billing may be sent to the subscribers of Consolidated Billing.
  • SoftBank Mobile may transfer its position, right, or obligation, related to Consolidated Billing to third parties without consent of its subscribers.

White Plan Student Discount

This discount service provides student customers with free monthly fee of White Plan, Unlimited Packet Discount (White Plan Student Discount), S! Basic Pack, and Content Student Discount Club (portal site for campaign beneficiaries), for 37 months.

  • Only one line can be applied per eligible customer.
  • The user information of your mobile handset will be registered at the time of application.
  • The service will be applied for 37 billing months counting from the 1st billing month which the service becomes applied. Due to changing the closing date or other reasons, the applicable period may be shorter than 37 months.
  • The service will be terminated if the subscriber is not eligible for this service under the criteria set by SoftBank Mobile.
  • After the service is terminated or 38 months have passed, White Plan (¥980/month)and Unlimited Packet Discount (flat-rate of ¥1,029 to ¥4,410/month) will be applied if there is no request for change to other plans.
  • When you apply for handset upgrade, White Plan Student Discount will be applied from the following billing month. Only S! Basic Pack will be applied on the day of application.
  • In the following cases, White Plan Student Discount will be terminated from the following billing month.
  • (1)The price plan has been changed to other plans than White Plan
  • (2)Unlimited Packet Discount (White Plan Student Discount) and S! Basic Pack is cancelled.
  • (3)Unlimited Packet Discount (White Plan Student Discount) is changed to Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE
  • (4)The ownership has been transferred, or changed.
  • The monthly fees for the month you sign-up or cancel the contract (only when your contract is cancelled during this campaign period), which will be prorated based on the number of days on the contract in the month, will be made free.

<Packet Flat-rate Service>

  • Unlimited Packet Discount (White Plan Student Discount) (¥0-¥4,410/month) will be applied automatically. Unlimited Packet Discount Flat (¥4,410/month) is also available.
  • For iPhone, Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount) (¥0-¥5,985/month) will be applied automatically. Unlimited Packet Discount Flat (¥4,410/month) and Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount Campaign) (¥0-¥4,410/month) are also available.
  • For SoftBank SMARTPHONE, Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (White Plam Student Discount) (¥0-¥5,985/month) will be applied automatically. Unlimited Packet Discount MAX for SMARTPHONE (¥3,985-¥5,985/month) are also available.

<After Campaign benefit is cancelled or terminated>

  • Discount will be lifted from the month of canceling the campaign.
  • Unless there is request from customers to cancel, the plan will be automatically changed to Unlimited Packet Discount (¥1,029-¥4,410/month), Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (¥1,029-¥5,985/month), Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (Campaign) (¥1,029-¥4,410/month) or Unlimited Packet Discount S for SMARTPHONE (¥390-¥5,985/month).

This service enables its subscribers to send or retrieve S! Mail (MMS), use packet communication for S! Circle Talk, and Web at fixed fees.

  • In case the usage volume is less than ¥4,410: the charge is the total amount of packet communication fees for sending / retrieving S! Mail (MMS) and Web calculated at ¥0.084 a packet.
  • In case the usage volume is ¥4,410 or more: the charge is ¥4,410 no matter how much you use.
  • In case of using PC Site Browser (including PC mail) and PC Site Direct, the upper amount of fixed fees will be changed (PC Site Browser (including PC mail): upper amount ¥5,985, PC Site Direct : upper amount ¥9,800).
Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount)
Monthly fee: ¥0-¥5,985

This service provide iPhone's packet communications for MMS, internet connection, e-mail(i), Visual Voice Mail at fixed rates.

  • In case the usage volume is less than ¥5,985: the charge is the total amount of iPhone's packet communication fees for MMS, internet connection, e-mail(i), Visual Voice Mail calculated at ¥0.084 a packet(128 bytes).
  • In case the usage volume is ¥5,985 or more: the charge is ¥5,985 no matter how much you use.
  • If you subscribe to a Standard price plan, Unlimited Packet Discount for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount Campaign) will be applied and the flat rate will be from ¥0 to ¥4,410/month.
Unlimited Packet Discount S for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount)
Monthly fee: ¥0-¥5,985

This service enables its subscribers to send or retrieve S!Mail(MMS), use packet communication for S! Circle Talk and Web at fixed fees.

  • In case the usage volume is less than ¥5,985: the charge is the total amount of for sending / retrieving S! Mail (MMS) and Web calculated at ¥0.084 a packet.
  • In case the usage volume is ¥5,985 or more: the charge is ¥5,985 no matter how much you use.
  • Only SoftBank SMARTPHONE users can apply for this service.
  • If you are already using a SoftBank Mobile handset, and apply for this service at the same time as the handset upgrade, the service will be applied retroactively from the first day of the billing month of the upgrade.
  • The subscribers of this service can not change the price plans to any packet fixed rate plan other than Unlimited Packet Discount MAX for SMARTPHONE.

Content Student Discount Club (portal site for campaign beneficiaries)

The provision of this service will be terminated on March 31, 2011. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Access methods will be notified by SoftBank Mobile.
    • * According to the termination of this service, SoftBank Mobile will also not notify access methods.
  • Communication fees will be charged separately.
  • The contents will be updated as necessary.
  • If you apply for "Yahoo! Kids," Contents Student Discount Club is not usable.
  • Viewing and downloading contents or other communications may be restricted when the usage is concentrated.

White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012

This special offer only targets students and their family members who apply for it in conjunction with a new subscription entailing the purchase of a mobile phone.

  • * We stopped accepting applications on the last day of May 2012.
  • If this special offer is applied, White Plan's basic fees will be waived and Unlimited Packet Discount (White Plan Student Discount)/S! Basic Pack will take effect for the special offer's duration.
  • Duration will be different for students and family members:
    • Students: 37 months
    • Family members: 37 months if using MNP, 16 months if not using MNP
  • The special offer will be applied in billing month units, counting the billing month in which the special offer takes effect as the first month. Also, the number of months of the special offer's duration may not be reached due to changes in billing deadlines, etc.
  • Benefits entailing an exemption from paying White Plan basic fees can be selected from the following:

  • If a student or a family member to whom the special offer is applied falls under any of the following, the special offer will be canceled from the following billing month onwards, returning to normal rates:
    1. 1. Switches to a rate plan other than White Plan.
    2. 2. Cancels the packet flat-rate service designated by SoftBank, or switches to a packet flat-rate service other than that designated by SoftBank.
    3. 3. Cancels S! Basic Pack.
    4. 4. Transfers his/her line, or changes the name of the user.
  • If a family member to whom this special offer is applied falls under any of the following, the special offer will be canceled from the following billing month onwards even if he/she does not fall under any of the above:
    1. 1. The family discount with the student to whom the special offer is applied is canceled.
    2. 2. The special offer that had been in effect for to the student is canceled.
  • After the special offer takes effect, its application to the concerned line will be canceled if we deem it not to qualify based on our criteria.
  • We may apply White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 to family members who make their new subscription in advance on condition that the student customer informs us that he/she wishes to make a new subscription for White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 at a later date. If the student customer makes a new subscription with White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 at a later date, White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 will automatically take effect from the following billing month onwards, together with a packet flat-rate service designated by SoftBank.
  • If you have selected benefits under the Tadatomo Program and White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 is applied, these benefits will be invalidated.
  • If White Plan Student & Family Discount 2012 is applied, Norikae Switchover Discount will be invalidated even if the conditions for its application are met.

  • If your usage volume is less than 4,410 yen: the total obtained by calculating packet data charges for MMSs, Internet connection, E Mail (i) and Visual Voicemail on your iPhone at 0.084 yen per packet (128 bytes)
  • If your usage volume is 4,410 yen or more: flat rate of 4,410 for any volume
  • If you are using Access Internet Plus, the flat rate's upper limit will be 5,985 yen.

Unlimited Packet Discount S for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 4,935)

Flat rate: from 0 yen to 4,935 yen

This service allows you to use packet communications for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS), browsing the web or using PC Site Browser (including PC Mail) and PC Site Direct on a SoftBank smartphone at a flat rate.

  • If your usage volume is less than 4,935 yen: the total obtained by calculating S! Mail (MMS) sending/reading fees and web packet communication fees at 0.0525 yen per packet.
  • If your usage volume is 4,935 yen or more: flat rate of 4,935 for any volume
  • If you are using Access Internet Plus, the flat rate's upper limit will be 5,985 yen.
  • You can only apply for SoftBank smartphones.
  • If a customer who is already using SoftBank applies when upgrading his/her model, the service will take effect retroactively from the first day of the model upgrade's billing month onwards.
  • You cannot switch to packet flat-rate services other than Unlimited Packet Discount Flat for Smartphone (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 4,410).

Unlimited Packet Discount for 4G/4G LTE (White Plan Student Discount)

Flat rate: from 0 yen to 6,510 yen/month

This service allows you to use packet communications for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS) and browsing the web on your 4G/4G LTE smartphone at a flat rate.

  • Flat rates will vary based on usage volume, and will be calculated as the total amount obtained by calculating packet communication fees for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS), browsing the web, etc. on your 4G/4G LTE smartphone at 0.0525 yen per packet (128 bytes).
    • If your usage volume is less than 6,510 yen: the total amount obtained by calculating packet communication fees for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS), browsing the web, etc. on your 4G/4G LTE smartphone at 0.0525 yen per packet.
    • If your usage volume is 6,510 yen or more: flat rate of 6,510 yen
  • If the volume of data used each month exceeds 7 GB, communication speed when sending and receiving will be limited to a maximum of 128 Kbps until the end of that billing month.
    • To cancel restrictions on communication speed (2,625 yen added per 2 GB after the abovementioned data volume is exceeded) or to set them, you will need to apply on My SoftBank.
    • Customers with a corporate contract should apply on the Corporate Concierge Site.
    • You will receive warnings and be notified via SMS when communication speed is restricted.
      * If you do not wish to be notified, you can turn this setting off on My SoftBank.
    • Registration is required to use My SoftBank (http://my.softbank.jp/).
  • If a customer who is already using SoftBank applies for Unlimited Packet Discount for 4G LTE/4G (White Plan Student Discount) when changing his/her contract, the discount will take effect retroactively starting at the beginning of the application's billing month.
  • You will not be able to switch to packet flat-rate services other than Unlimited Packet Discount Flat for 4G LTE/4G.

Unlimited Packet Discount Flat for Smartphone (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 4,410)

Flat rate: 4,410 yen

This service allows you to use packet communications for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS), browsing the web or using PC Site Browser (including PC Mail) and PC Site Direct on a SoftBank smartphone at a flat rate.

  • If you are only using packet communications only to send/read S! Mail or browse the web, you will be charged a flat rate of 4,410 yen/month regardless of usage volume.
  • If you are using PC Site Browser (including PC Mail) or Access Internet Plus, the flat rate's upper limit will change (up to 5,985 yen). Note that flat rates will be calculated as the total amount obtained by calculating communication fees for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS), browsing the web, using PC Site Browser (including PC Mail), Access Internet Plus and PC Site Direct at 0.084 yen per packet (128 bytes).
  • You can only apply for SoftBank smartphones.
  • If a customer who is already using SoftBank applies when upgrading his/her model, the service will take effect retroactively from the first day of the model upgrade's billing month onwards.
  • You will not be able to switch to packet flat-rate services other than Unlimited Packet Discount S for SMARTPHONE (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 4,935).
  • Flat rates will not be prorated on a per diem basis even if you cancel your contract mid-month.

Unlimited Packet Discount Flat for 4G/4G LTE (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 5,460)

[4G/4G LTE smartphones]

Flat rate: 5,460 yen/month

This service allows you to use packet communications for sending/reading S! Mail (MMS) and browsing the web on your 4G/4G LTE smartphone at a flat rate.

  • The flat rate will remain 5,460 yen/month regardless of usage volume.
  • If the volume of data used each month exceeds 7 GB, communication speed when sending and receiving will be limited to a maximum of 128 kbps until the end of that billing month.
    • In order to cancel (adding 2,625 yen per 2 GB after the above data volume is exceeded) or set restrictions on communication speed, you will need to apply on My SoftBank.
    • Customers with a corporate contract should apply on the Corporate Concierge Site.
    • You will receive warnings and be notified via SMS when communication speed is restricted.
    • If you do not wish to be notified, you can turn this setting off on My SoftBank.
    • You will need to register in order to use My SoftBank (http://my.softbank.jp/).
  • If a customer who is already using SoftBank applies for Unlimited Packet Discount Flat for 4G LTE/4G (White Plan Student Discount upper limit: 5,460) when changing his/her contract, the service will take effect retroactively starting at the beginning of the application's billing month.
  • You cannot switch to packet flat-rate services other than Unlimited Packet Discount for 4G LTE/4G (White Plan Student Discount).
  • Flat rates will not be prorated on a per diem basis even if you cancel your contract mid-month.

White Plan Student & Family Discount 2013

This special offer only targets students and their family members who apply in conjunction with a new subscription or model upgrade (students only) that entails the purchase of a mobile phone.The benefits entailed by the special offer are listed below.

  • <For students>

    • White Plan basic fees waived for 37 months, or discount for customers buying an iPad mini (Wi-Fi model)/iPad Retina display model (Wi-Fi model) (henceforth "Discount for iPad Purchasers")

    • * The Discount for iPad Purchasers will become available on February 27, 2013 for new customers and on March 14, 2013 for students upgrading their model.

    If not using MNP:

    • White Plan basic fee waived for 13 months
    • PhotoVision TV (202HW) (1 for each family member subscribing to White Plan Student & Family Discount 2013)
  • If you apply in conjunction with a new subscription and choose to have your White Plan basic fees waived, the special offer will take effect starting on the new subscription’s billing month. If you apply in conjunction with a model upgrade and choose to have your White Plan basic fees waived, the special offer will take effect starting on the billing month following that of the model upgrade.
  • If you choose the Discount for iPad Purchasers, the special offer will take effect starting on the billing month following your application for this benefit.
  • The special offer will be applied in billing month units, counting the billing month in which the special offer takes effect as the first month.
  • If you choose to have your White Plan basic fees waived, you will not be charged basic usage fees prorated on a per diem basis for the month of the subscription and the month of cancellation (only when the contract is canceled while the special offer is in effect).

  • After the special offer takes effect, its application to the concerned line will be canceled if we deem it not to meet our criteria.
  • We may apply White Plan Student & Family Discount 2013 to family members who make their new subscription in advance on condition that the student customer informs us that he/she wishes to make a new subscription for White Plan Student & Family Discount 2013 at a later date (the only benefit that can be selected is exemption from paying White Plan basic fees). The bill of BB Phone (M) will be closed at the end of every month and added to the bills of either SoftBank Mobile or Disney Mobile on SoftBank.

    In case anyone is on the site of work, or ADSL line can not be installed because of structural reasons of the site or technical factors, we may cancel your application.
    In case anyone was on the site of work and the work could not be completed because of this, ¥6,825 (tax included), which is the cost for dispatching work personnel and the handling fee, will be charged.
    Please check the work schedule, and, if you can not be on site, contact White BB Support Center by noon one business day prior to the scheduled date.
  • Rental of ADSL modem
  • For using White BB, ADSL modem, which is to be rent from SoftBank Mobile, will be required.
    If your White BB contract is not singed after we send you an ADSL modem, or if you do not return the ADSL modem to the location designated by SoftBank Mobile by the 20th day of the month following the month of cancellation, the amount set as "the penalty for not returning" will be charged.
    If your ADSL modem goes out of order due to your carelessness, the amount set as "the repair or replacement at the time of malfunction/breakage" and the cost needed for cause investigation, repair, and replacement etc. will be charged.

    • * "The day the screening of White Call 24 is completed" is the day when SoftBank Mobile makes judgment that the application is acceptable based on our screening criteria.
    <Notices>
    • When you are using the Regular Type, depending on the quality of communication network, the call may not be made from BB Phone (M) but from the other telephone company that you are subscribing to, which may incur some charges from the telephone company.
    • If White BB is cancelled, this service will be applied up to the cancellation.
    • If all of the "White Call 24 (the discount service for White Plan)" lines which you or your family members designate have been cancelled, this service will be terminated at the end of the month.
    • If the work has not been completed or the contract not signed by the time the 90th day passed since the acceptance of the application or the relocation request of White BB, this service will be automatically terminated on the last day of the month which the 90th day from the application belongs.

  • (1) Common
    • The charges around White BB will not be added to SoftBank Mileage Service.
    • The charges around White BB will not be covered by Monthly Discount.
    • This service is continuously applicable even after the price plans of your SoftBank Mobile contract have been changed.
    • The service type can not be changed to the other; e.g. from the Regular Type to the No Telephone Right Type, and vice versa.
    • When 3G contract of SoftBank Mobile or Disney Mobile on SoftBank is cancelled, transferred or succeeded to another owner, White BB is cancelled, as well.
      • * If you are using Home Antenna FT in the Regular Type, the Home Antenna FT can be used even after cancelling White BB.
      • * If you are using Home Antenna FT in the No Telephone Right Type, the Home Antenna FT will be cancelled as well upon cancelling White BB.
  • (2)Internet Connection Service
    This service is not available for those who are using the following services. Make sure to call the contact center of the telephone company that you are subscribing to by dialing 116.

In case of the Regular Type, however, the calls will be automatically made as the general subscription lines, and the charges will be billed by the telephone company.
    • Itemized bill of BB Phone (M) can not be issued.
    • Call transfer of BB Phone (M) is not available.
    • Telephone numbers can not be changed for BB Phone (M).
    • If you are using the device which does not support Number Display, you may experience some technical issues for receiving calls.
    • When you make a call from BB Phone (M), the "050" number of BB Phone will be notified to the receiving party. This function is available, however, only when the receiving party is using the number display service (the services equivalent to NTT Number Display or mobile phones).
    • Subscribing to the Regular Type, if you want to use the services of other telephone operators than BB Phone (M), please dial "0000" (dial zero for four times) before dialing the telephone number you want to call.
  • Delegated application to NTT
    • SoftBank BB Corp, which is our partner company, will carry out the application work for NTT East and NTT West DSL Special Connection Services on behalf of our customers. (Hereinafter called"delegate application")
    • In this case, NTT East and NTT West may provide us with your contract information (such as the result of checking if the service can be provided, and the reason of rejection if any) around the subscription services of NTT East and NTT West.
    • The contract information provided by NTT East and NTT West will be used only for the customers to adjust the registered contents so that the delegate application for NTT East and NTT West DSL Special Connection Services etc. goes smoothly.

    <In the case of the No Telephone Right Type>

    • If the service is suspended for a while or a short moment due to relocation of base stations or other reasons, SoftBank BB Corp may provide NTT East and NTT West with customer contact information so that NTT East and NTT West can notify about the suspension beforehand.

Usage Notification Service

This includes two services; “Usage Notification Message,” which will be sent when the usage amount exceeds a pre-set amount, and “Usage Stoppage Service,” which suspends the mobile phone from making calls following the message notifying that the usage amount exceeds a pre-set amount.

  • If you are using the model which does not receive messages addressed to your mobile phone number, you need to register contact information other than your mobile phone number. Please note that if your contact information is not registered, Usage Notification Message will not be delivered.
  • Usage Notification Service is not available for 3G Prepaid Service and Prepaid Plan (for iPad).
  • For corporate customers, Usage Notification Service need to be applied.
  • The usage fees are the estimated sum of voice call fees and message fees after applying airtime allowance and various discount services, fixed-fee for packet fixed–rate services and content information fees.
  • The estimated sum does not include the usage outside mobile phone service (BB Phone (M) call fees, etc.) and the fees to be charged separately from mobile phone fees (the purchase of contents by credit cards).
  • The usage fees will be accumulated from the 1st day of the billing month, and reset on the 1st day of the following billing month.
  • The notification message will be sent and the service suspended when SoftBank Mobile confirms that the amount exceeds the pre-set amount.
  • The period of time from the notification message to the service suspension may be one day at the maximum. The usage during the period will be charged.
  • If SoftBank Mobile decides that any of the sent notification message has not been delivered, we may stop sending messages without any prior notice.
  • System maintenance and other factors may result in delay in stopping or canceling the message transmission, or restriction in using a part of menu of Usage Notification Service.
  • The notification message includes the mobile phone number which Usage Notification Service covers. Please pay sufficient attention to the contact information that you register.
  • You can register three contact information to receive the notification messages beside your mobile phone number (you can register SoftBank Mobile numbers, Disney Mobile on SoftBank numbers, mobile phone addresses and e-mail addresses).
  • The pre-set amount and the registration of contact information will be set up at My SoftBank or our Corporate Customer Administration Site.
  • If your registered contact information other than you mobile number is changed or eliminated, you need to apply for the change in contact information because it will not be automatically updated.
  • Please understand that, even if you have updated your information, the previous information may be applied depending on the timing of set-up update.
  • When the contract is transferred or succeeded, the pre-set amount and contact information will be reset. Also, when the contract is transferred, the suspension of message transmission will be lifted.
  • If the payer of your bill is changed, the accumulation of the usage amount will be reset.
  • Even if you change your mobile number, setting such as the pre-set amount or contact information will be carried over.
Usage Notification Message

In this service, a message will be sent when the usage amount exceeds a pre-set amount.

  • If the pre-set amount is not changed, ¥100,000 will be set.
  • If the pre-set amount for this service is the same as the pre-set amount for Usage Stoppage Service, Usage Notification Message will not be transmitted.
  • If the transmission of Usage Notification Message is suspended, the notification for Usage Stoppage Service will also be suspended.
Usage Stoppage Service
Monthly fee: ¥105/month
Prorated based on the number of days

This service will, if the usage amount exceeds a pre-set amount, suspend the mobile phone from making calls, following a notification message.

  • Usage Stoppage Service will be usable from the following day of application.
  • PhotoVision, line B of Double Number and USIM card for data communication (A) fixed rate are not applicable concurrently with Usage Stoppage Service.
  • The pre-set amount at the time of application is the same as that for Usage Notification Message.
  • When line A of Double Number is suspended for making calls, line B will be suspended as well.
  • Even during the time of call suspension, you can call some telephone numbers including emergency calls (110, 118, 119), general information (157) and Usage Stoppage Service Cancellation Dial (*8157 from SoftBank Mobile).
  • The call suspension will be lifted automatically on the 1st day of the following billing month.
  • The call suspension can be lifted by calling Usage Stoppage Service Cancellation Dial (*8157 from SoftBank Mobile, 0800-111-8157 from other phones), Global Call Center from oversea (+81-3-5351-3491), or My SoftBank (PC version).
  • Please note that Usage Stoppage Service Cancellation Dial (*8157 from SoftBank Mobile, 0800-111-8157 from other phones) can not be connected from overseas.
  • Basic monthly fee, fixed fee, monthly usage fee will be charged even during call suspension.
  • S! Mail messages which you receive during call suspension will be stored in the mail box and you can receive them after releasing of call suspension.
  • If Usage Stoppage Service is cancelled during call suspension, call suspension will be lifted.
  • If you subscribe to Keitai Basic Pack, iPhone Basic Pack, SMARTPHONE Basic Pack, Disney Basic Option Pack, Business Basic Option Pack and SMARTPHONE Business Basic Pack, Usage Stoppage Service is provided for free of charge.
  • If you signed-up Basic Option Pack, Basic Option Pack (i), SMARTPHONE Basic Pack, Disney Basic Option Pack, Business Basic Option Pack and SMARTPHONE Business Basic Pack before November 30th, 2010, the Usage Stoppage Service has been cut off. If you want to subscribe to Usage Stoppage Service, you need to apply at My SoftBank or our Corporate Customer Administration Site.
  • Even if Usage Stoppage Service is temporarily suspended, its basic monthly fee will be charged.
  • If the notification in Usage Stoppage Service is suspended, the transmission of Usage Notification Message will also be suspended.

Mobile Set Discount

This special offer is for customers who begin running a power generator with a contract for the Power Generation Spot Service and use SoftBank’s mobile phone services, as well as for their family members.

  • The following discounts will be applied for the special offer’s duration.
    • White Plan basic fees waived for three years (36 months)
    • White BB (normal type/type not requiring subscription rights) monthly fees discounted by 1,000 yen for three years (36 months)
